A lifelong resident of Butler County, leaving only to obtain an education from Kansas State University, David Sundgren obtained his B.S. Degree in Agriculture in 1975. Since then he has instructed college level courses in Agriculture Economics, Principles of Animal Science and Principles of Real Estate. In addition to his agricultural education, he has 15 years of experience in Flint Hills ranch management.
In June 2008, David established SunGroup Agents. "We are not simply selling homes. We are selling our community to others," David explains. "We are committed to our community and want it to grow and prosper."
"SunGroup is founded on one basic principle: superior service. We have the experience, knowledge and abilities that many other real estate agencies have. However, what sets us apart is that superior service that we offer every client with whom we do business."
Professional licenses and designations held since 1990 include a Real Estate Broker's license and a General Certified Appraisal license, which is the highest level recognized in Kansas. David has appraised and/or sold hundreds of farms and ranches in Butler, Greenwood, Elk, Chase, Chautauqua, Cowley and Sedgwick Counties and maintains an extensive database of farm and ranch sales.
Real estate specialty services in which he has expertise include large farm and ranch sales, 1031 exchanges, and land trades. Appraisal expertise includes large farm and ranch valuations, condemnation and litigation. He has assisted many clients with the valuation and ultimately the successful sale of their farms and ranches. Another area of more recent development in which he has provided expertise is the purchase and sale of recreational hunting and fishing properties. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and is in constant contact with potential buyers and sellers of recreational properties in the Flinthills.
Civic activities that have complemented his real estate experience include terms on the Butler County Soil Conservation Board, Butler Community College Board of Trustees, and Butler County Zoning Board. |
