After 25 years of banking, Linda decided she needed a more flexible schedule, after all, her grandson may need to go to the park!  She earned her real estate license at the end of 2002.  Being born and raised in El Dorado and being involved in the service industry all of her adult life made this an easy transition.

Linda has been involved in community activities since the mid 1980's.  She served on the Prairie port Committee for 10 years and Holiday Visions for 7 years.  For 2 years, she was president of El Dorado Main Street, a downtown development organization, along with the Community Development Organization Executive Committee.  Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, El Dorado Car Show and Main Street's Promotion committee have been a passion of Linda's for the past several years.  Other activities include the Governor's One Shot Turkey Hunt and the Frontier Western Celebration.
In 2006, Linda was honored with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award and the Project of the Year award for her involvement in bringing two displaced Katrina families to town and providing them with homes, food and supplies.

Linda seems to thrive on chaos and a full calendar and thoroughly enjoys the career path she has chosen.  She doesn't look back upon the decision she made but rather looks forward to many more rewarding years as a real estate professional.
